Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK NOISE 
    1. Is hiss noise produced by non-functioning speaker?

      OK: Hiss noise is not from speaker. 

    • NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (RECHECK SYSTEM AFTER REPLACEMENT) 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - SPEAKER) 
    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. REPLACE SPEAKER 
    1. Temporarily install another speaker. Functions OK?
    • OK: SPEAKER FAULTY 
    • NG: REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (RECHECK SYSTEM AFTER REPLACEMENT)
