Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK RADIO WAVE SIGNAL OR LOCATION 
    1. Is sound quality bad in certain areas only?

      OK: Sound quality is bad only in certain areas. 

    • OK: POOR SIGNAL, POOR LOCATION 
    • NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK ANTENNA 
    1. Is power for the antenna being output from the radio receiver assembly?
    • OK: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
    • NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK RADIO 
    1. Area both AM and FM defective?
    • NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
    • OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
