Front Seat Cushion Heater: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER 
    1. Check the front seat cushion heater continuity.
      1. Heat the thermostat with a light.
      2. Check the seat cushion heater continuity between the terminals as shown in Fig 1.

        OK: 

        FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 4 Always Continuity
        2 - 3 25 to 35°C (77 to 95°F) Continuity
        2 - 3 35 to 45°C (95 to 113°F) No continuity

        If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat cushion heater.
