Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the T19 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      TRANSPONDER KEY ECU (1 OF 2)

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (T19-14) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      +B (T19-1) - GND (T19-14) L-W - W-B Power source supply Always 10 to 14 V
      KSW (T19-10) - GND (T19-14) R-B - W-B Unlock warning switch Key inserted in ignition key cylinder Below 1 Ω
      No key in ignition key cylinder 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the T19 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the resistance and voltage of the connector.
      TRANSPONDER KEY ECU (2 OF 2)

      Key inserted Pulse generation (see WAVEFORM 2 (REFERENCE)  )
      EFIO (T19-6) - GND (T19-14) W - W-B ECM output signal Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ON Pulse generation (see WAVEFORM 3 (REFERENCE)  )
      EFII (T19-7) - GND (T19-14) Y - W-B ECM input signal Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ON Pulse generation (see WAVEFORM 4 (REFERENCE)  )
      KSW (T19-10) - GND (T19-14) R-B - W-B Unlock warning switch Key inserted Below 1 V
      No key in ignition key cylinder 10 to 14 V
      IND (T19-3) - GND (T19-14) G-R - W-B Security indicator signal Key inserted Below 1 V
      No key in ignition key cylinder Pulse generation

      If the result is not specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

    5. Inspect using an oscilloscope.

  2. CHECK ECM

    1. Measure the resistance and voltage of the connectors.
