Inspection Procedure

INSPECT DLC3 TERMINAL VOLTAGE

Turn the ignition switch ON.

Measure the voltage of the D7 connector.

Standard voltage

DLC3 TERMINAL VOLTAGE

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
4 (CG) - 7 (SIL)	10 to 14 V

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG: GO TO NEXT STEP

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY - DLC3 AND BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the T19 ECU connector.
Disconnect the D7 connector.

Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance

TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY - DLC3 AND BODY GROUND

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
T19-9 (D) - D7-7 (SIL)	Below 1 Ω
D7-4 (CG) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
T19-9 (D) or D7-7 (SIL) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY
