Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the T19 ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the E8 ECM connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance 

      TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY - ECM

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      T19-7 (EFII) - E8-15 (IMO) Below 1 Ω
      T19-6 (EFIO) - E8-16 (IMI)
      T19-7 (EFII) or E8-15 (IMO) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      T19-6 (EFIO) or E8-16 (IMI) - Body ground
      • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
      • OK: REPLACE ECM
