Inspection Procedure

READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (TEMPERATURE SENSOR)
1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON and push the intelligent tester main switch ON.
3. Select the DATA LIST mode on the intelligent tester.
4. Check the temperature value of the fluid temperature sensor displayed on the intelligent tester.
  OK:
  
  Same as actual fluid temperature
OK: REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU

NG: GO TO NEXT STEP

INSPECT FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Disconnect the fluid temperature sensor connector.

Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the fluid temperature sensor connector.

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
1 - 2	2.45 +/- 0.45 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)

NG: REPLACE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR - SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU)
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU
