Inspection Procedure

CHECK NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE (SIDE SQUIB RH CIRCUIT)
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
3. Disconnect the connectors from the center airbag sensor and the side airbag RH (side squib RH).
4. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
6. Measure the voltage between the body ground and SFR+ of the S19 No. 2 floor wire connector on the side airbag RH (side squib RH) side.
  Standard voltage: Below 1 V

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
2. Airbag Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds.
3. Connect the connector to the center airbag sensor.
4. Using a service wire, connect SFR+ and SFR- of the S19 No. 2 floor wire connector on the side airbag RH (side squib RH) side.
5. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait at least for 10 seconds.
7. Clear the DTC stored in memory (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
8. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK, and wait at least for 10 seconds.
9. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait at least for 10 seconds.
10. Check the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
  OK: DTC B0113/42 is not output.

NG: REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK SIDE SQUIB RH
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds.
3. Connect the side airbag RH (side squib RH) connector.
4. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait at least for 10 seconds.
6. Clear the DTC stored in memory (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
7. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK, and wait at least for 10 seconds.
8. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait at least for 10 seconds.
9. Check the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
  OK: DTC B0113/42 is not output.
