Airbag Cut-Off Switch: Inspection

- INSPECT CURTAIN AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
Standard resistance
CURTAIN AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH RESISTANCETester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 ON Below 1 Ω 3 - 4 OFF 10 kΩ or higher - Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the illumination light illuminates.
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CURTAIN AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH VOLTAGEMeasurement Connection Specified Condition Battery positive (+) -> Terminal 1
Battery positive (-) -> Terminal 2Illumination light Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or switch.
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
