Inspection Procedure

CHECK TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU (+B VOLTAGE)
1. Remove the ECU with the connectors still connected.
2. Measure the voltage between terminals +B and GND of the T7 and T8 ECU connectors.
  Standard voltage:
  
  8 to 16 V
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU (GROUND)
1. Measure the resistance between terminal GND of the T7 ECU connector and body ground.
  Standard resistance:
  
  Below 1 Ω
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
INSPECT FUSE (TIL & TEL)
1. Remove the TIL & TEL fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.
2. Measure the resistance of the fuse.
  Standard resistance:
  
  Below 1Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
