Rear Heater Unit: Inspection

INSPECT BLOWER MOTOR
1. Connect battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and battery negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the motor rotates smoothly.
  If operation is not as specified, replace the blower motor.
INSPECT AIR MIX SERVOMOTOR
1. Inspect the air mix servomotor (see DTC 42: AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL SERVO MOTOR CIRCUIT ).

INSPECT AIR MIX DAMPER POSITION SENSOR
1. Inspect the air mix damper position sensor (see DTC 37, 47: REAR AIR MIX DAMPER POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT; REAR AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL SERVO MOTOR CIRCUIT ).
INSPECT AIR INLET TEMPERATURE SENSOR
1. Inspect the air inlet temperature sensor (see DTC 32, 42: AIR INLET DAMPER POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT; AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL SERVO MOTOR CIRCUIT ).
