Front Cooling Unit: Disassembly

REMOVE EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the connector clamp.
2. Remove the 8 screws and No. 1 cooler cover.
3. Remove the evaporator.
4. Remove the air refiner filter.

REMOVE EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
1. Remove the evaporator temperature sensor from the evaporator.

REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE
1. Remove the grommet.
2. Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 bolts and remove the expansion valve and tube from the evaporator.
  NOTE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.
3. Remove the 4 O-rings from the tube and expansion valve.

REMOVE DRAIN HOSE
