Exhaust Pipe And Catalytic Converter: Installation

INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE RH
1. Install a new gasket to the front exhaust pipe.
2. Install the front exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold with 3 new nuts.
  Torque: 62 N*m (632 kgf*cm, 46 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE LH
1. Install a new gasket to the front exhaust pipe.
2. Install the front exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold with 3 new nuts.
  Torque: 62 N*m (632 kgf*cm, 46 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE
1. Install the front No. 2 exhaust pipe to the body bracket with the ring.
2. Install a new gasket to the front No. 2 exhaust pipe.
3. Connect the front No. 2 exhaust pipe to the front exhaust pipe LH with the 2 bolts and 2 new nuts.
  Torque: 40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE
1. Install the center exhaust pipe to the body bracket with the 3 rings.
2. Install 2 new gaskets to the center exhaust pipe.
3. Connect the center exhaust pipe to the front exhaust pipe RH and front No. 2 exhaust pipe with the 4 bolts and 4 new nuts.
  Torque: 40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL TAILPIPE
1. Install the tailpipe with the 2 rings.
2. Install a new gasket.
3. Install a new clamp with the bolt as shown.
  NOTE: Do not reuse the removed gasket and clamp.
  
  Torque: 35 N*m (357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)
1. Using SST, install the sensor.
  SST 09224-00010
  
  Torque: 44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) for use without SST
  
  40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf) for use with SST
  
  HINT:
  
  Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).

2. Connect the sensor connector.

INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (For Bank 1 Sensor 2)
1. Using SST, install the sensor.
  SST 09224-00010
  
  Torque: 44 N*m (449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) for use without SST
  
  40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf) for use with SST
  
  HINT:
  
  Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).

2. Connect the sensor connector.
CHECK FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAKS
If gas is leaking, tighten the problem areas to stop the leak. Replace damaged parts as necessary.
