Inspection Procedure

INSPECT FUSE
1. Remove the AM2 fuse of the engine room junction block.
2. Measure the resistance of the fuse.
  Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds.
3. Disconnect the C14 center airbag sensor connector.
4. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
6. Measure the voltage between the C14-3 (LA) and body ground of the center airbag sensor connector.
  Standard voltage: 10 to 14 V
NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Check operation of the SRS warning light.
  OK: SRS warning light comes on.
NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

OK: REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
