Inspection Procedure

CHECK THAT BATTERY POSITIVE VOLTAGE IS 11 V OR MORE WHEN ENGINE STOPPED
NG: CHARGE OR REPLACE BATTERY

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
1. Remove the ECU with the connectors still connected.
2. Measure the voltage between terminals ECUB and GND of the T7 ECU connector.
  Standard voltage:
  
  8 to 16 V

OK: REPLACE TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BODY GROUND)
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
INSPECT FUSE (ECU-B2, BAT)
1. Remove the ECU-B2 fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.
2. Remove the BAT fuse from the engine room junction block.
3. Measure the resistance of the fuses.
  Standard resistance:
  
  Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
