Inspection Procedure

HINT:

• Refer to ERROR IN PRESENT WHILE IDENTIFYING TRANSMITTER  if the DTC is currently output. Refer to ERROR IN PAST WHEN IDENTIFYING TRANSMITTER  if a previously output DTC is not output now. Even when DTCs C2165/65 to C2169/69 are output both as present and past codes, refer to ERROR IN PAST WHEN IDENTIFYING TRANSMITTER .
• DTCs relevant to the transmitters correspond to each transmitter ID. It is impossible to identify which tire is malfunctioning according to each transmitter ID. Therefore the following procedures must be followed to confirm the ID No. and tire location.

1. SET PRESSURE OF ALL TIRES TO SPECIFIED VALUE

2. RAPIDLY REDUCE PRESSURE OF FRONT RIGHT WHEEL 
   1. Rapidly reduce the pressure of the front right wheel to 120 kPa (1.2 kgf/cm² , 17 psi).
3. USING INTELLIGENT TESTER, CHECK TIRE PRESSURE DATA OF EACH WHEEL 
   1. Check that each of TIREPRESS1 through 5 indicate 120 kPa (1.2 kgf/cm² , 17 psi).

   NG: DETECTED DTC IS FOR FRONT RIGHT WHEEL TRANSMITTER 

   OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

4. RAPIDLY REDUCE THE PRESSURE OF FRONT LEFT WHEEL 
   1. Rapidly reduce the pressure of the front left wheel to 120 kPa (1.2 kgf/cm² , 17 psi).
5. USING INTELLIGENT TESTER, CHECK TIRE PRESSURE DATA OF EACH WHEEL 
   1. Check that each of TIREPRESS1 through 5 indicate 120 kPa (1.2 kgf/cm² , 17 psi).

7. USING INTELLIGENT TESTER, CHECK TIRE PRESSURE DATA OF EACH OF WHEEL 
   1. Check that each of TIREPRESS 1 through 5 indicate 120 kPa (1.2 kgf/cm² , 17 psi).

9. RAPIDLY REDUCE PRESSURE OF REAR LEFT WHEEL 
   1. Check that each of TIREPRESS1 through 5 indicate 120 kPa (1.2 kgf/cm² , 17 psi).
