DTC Check/Clear

  1. DTC CHECK 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream ON.
    4. Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes.
    5. Check the DTC (s) and freeze frame data, and then write them down.
    6. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART  to check the details of the DTC (s).
  2. CLEAR DTC (Using a Techstream) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Turn the tester ON.
    4. Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes.
    5. Press the YES button to clear the DTC (s).
  3. CLEAR THE DTC (Without using a Techstream) 
    1. Perform either one of the following operations.
      1. Disconnect the negative battery cable for more than 1 minute.
      2. Remove the ECU-B fuse from the engine room relay block located inside the engine compartment for more than 1 minute.
