Floor Shift Assembly: Disassembly

REMOVE SHIFT LEVER CAP
1. Remove the shift lever cap from the position indicator housing upper.

REMOVE UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING
1. Release the 4 claws using a screwdriver and remove the upper position indicator housing from the shift lock control unit.

REMOVE NO. 2 CONTROL POSITION INDICATOR PLATE
1. Release the 2 claws using a screwdriver and remove position indicator plate from the upper position indicator housing.

REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER
1. Remove the position indicator slide cover from the shift lock control unit.

REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER
1. Remove No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON
1. Remove the shift lock release button and shift lock release spring from the shift lock control unit.

REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly from the shift lock control unit.
