TRACTION CONTROL SWITCH (for 2WD): Inspection

- Measure the resistance of the switch.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 - 6 Released 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 6 Pushed in Below 25 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Check illumination operation.
- Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 5 arid negative (-) lead to terminal 4.
Then check that the bulb illuminates.
OK: Bulb illuminates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 5 arid negative (-) lead to terminal 4.
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
