Cylinder Head, Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold: Repair

REPAIR INTAKE VALVE
1. Repair the intake valve seat.
  NOTE: Releasing the seat-cutter pressure gradually helps to make the valve seat face smoother.
2. If the seating is too high on the valve face, use 20° and 45° cutters to correct the seat.

3. If the seating is too low on the valve face, use 75° and 45° cutters to correct the seat.
4. Hand-lap the valve and valve seat with an abrasive compound.
5. Recheck the valve seating position.
