Section 205 (Engine Cooling System): Thermostat: Installation

INSTALL THERMOSTAT
1. Install a new gasket onto the thermostat.
2. Install the thermostat with the jiggle valve facing upward.
  HINT:
  
  The jiggle valve may be set within 10° on either side.

INSTALL WATER INLET
1. Install the water inlet with radiator hose with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)

ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
