Parking Brake Switch: Inspection

INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH

Check the resistance.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
1 - Ground	Released	Below 1 ohms
1-Ground	Pushed in	10 k ohms or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the parking brake switch.
