Heater Blower Motor Relay: Inspection

- INSPECT HEATER BLOWER MOTOR RELAY
- Check the resistance.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Specified Condition 3-4 Below 1 Ω 3-4 10 kΩ or higher
(Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2)3-5 10 kΩ or higher 3-5 Below 1 Ω
(Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2)If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.
- Check the resistance.
