How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the air conditioning system.
• *:Use a Techstream.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS AND SYMPTOM CHECK 
3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

4. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Use a Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning.

5. CHECK DTC* 
   1. Check for DTCs and write down any DTCs that are output.
   2. Clear the DTCs.
   3. Referring to the DTCs written above, simulate the DTC output conditions and check whether any DTCs of the air conditioning system recur.
