ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (for Hatchback): Inspection

- INSPECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
- Check the resistance of the engine hood courtesy switch.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLETester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1-2 Lock 10 kΩ or higher 1-2 Unlock Below 1 Ω If the results is not as specified, replace the hood lock.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

- Check the resistance of the engine hood courtesy switch.
