On-Vehicle Inspection

INSPECT FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)
1. Perform a diagnostic system check (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
2. With the front seat side airbag installed on the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the front seat side airbag with a new one:
  Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the front seat airbag.

1. Perform a diagnostic system check (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
2. With the front seat side airbag removed from the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the front seat side airbag with a new one:
  - Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the front seat airbag.
  - Any cracks or other damage to the wire harness or connector.
