REAR DOOR BELT MOLDING (for Hatchback): Removal

HINT:

The procedure described below is for the LH side. Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides, unless otherwise specified.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Power Window)
REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window) DISASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. w/Power Window:
  1. Remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly (See DISASSEMBLY ).
2. w/o Power Window:
  1. Remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly DISASSEMBLY .
REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOLDING
1. Apply protective tape to the door panel in the area around the rear door belt molding.

2. Using a molding remover, disengage the 5 claws and the clip and remove the rear door belt molding.
