REAR BUMPER (for Sedan): Removal

REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH
1. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and the rear bumper side seal.

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

2. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 screws.

4. Insert a screwdriver into portion A shown in the illustration, then lift the rear bumper cover up using it and disengage the 2 claws.
5. Disengage the 16 claws and remove the rear bumper cover.

REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
2. Remove the screw.
3. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer.

REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH
1. Remove the screw.
2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper side support.

REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER SHIELD BRACKET
HINT:

Use the same procedure to remove all the rear bumper center shield brackets.
1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper center shield bracket.

REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
1. Remove the 4 nuts and rear bumper reinforcement.

REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
1. Remove the 3 bolts and the rear bumper arm.
