REAR BUMPER (for Hatchback): Installation

INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
1. Install the rear bumper arm with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 19 N*m (195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
1. Install the rear bumper reinforcement with the 4 nuts.
  Torque: 19 N*m (195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL REAR BUMPER SHIELD CENTER BRACKET
HINT:

Use the same procedure to install all the rear bumper shield center brackets.
1. Engage the 4 claws and install the rear bumper shield center bracket.

INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
1. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper side retainer.
2. Tighten the screw.

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER
1. Connect the license plate light connector.
2. Engage the 4 claws and install the rear bumper.

3. Engage the 8 claws.

4. Tighten the 2 bolts.
5. Install the 2 clips.

6. Remove the protective tape.

INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH
1. Install the rear bumper side seal with the 2 clips.
INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH
HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
