FRONT DOOR BELT MOLDING (for Hatchback): Installation

HINT:

The procedure described below is for the LH side. Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides, unless otherwise specified.

INSTALL FRONT DOOR BELT MOLDING
1. for 5 Door:
  1. Engage the 5 claws and the clip and install a new front door belt molding.

  2. Remove the protective tape.

2. for 3 Door:
  1. Engage the 5 claws and the clip and install a new front door belt molding.

  2. Remove the protective tape.
INSTALL FRONT DOOR WINDOW FRAME REAR MOLDING (for 3 Door) (See REMOVAL )
INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (See OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR (FOR SEDAN) or OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR (FOR HATCHBACK) )
INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. w/Power Window:
  1. Install the front door trim board sub-assembly (See REASSEMBLY ).

2. w/o Power Window:
  1. Install the front door trim board sub-assembly (See REASSEMBLY ).
INSTALL FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window) (See REASSEMBLY )
INSTALL FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL
1. w/ Power Window:
  1. Install the front door armrest base upper panel (See REASSEMBLY ).
2. w/o Power Window:
  1. Install the front door armrest base upper panel (See REASSEMBLY ).
INSTALL FRONT DOOR ARMREST COVER (See REASSEMBLY )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Power Window)
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
