BACK DOOR SUPPORT (for Hatchback): Removal

HINT:

Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
The procedure described below is for the LH side.

REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY
1. Using a screwdriver with its wrapped in protective tape, remove the 2 stop rings and stay.
  NOTE:
  - Do not touch the rod of the stay with gloves to avoid fibers from adhering.
  - When foreign matter adheres to the rod, it prevents the rod from moving smoothly and reduces its holding power.
  HINT:
  
  Support the back door by hand while removing the door stay.
