REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback): Removal

HINT:

Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
The procedure described below is for the LH side.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER
1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear combination light cover.

REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 2 nuts.
2. Disconnect the connector.

3. Slide the tail light (rear combination light) toward the rear of the vehicle.

REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET
1. Remove the rear combination light body gasket.
  NOTE:
  - Detach the gasket if it adheres to the body.
  - Do not reuse a removed gasket. Replace it with a new one to prevent water from entering.

REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BULB
1. Disengage the fitting of the rib.
2. Disengage the claw on the upper side, then on the lower side.

3. Turn the 2 rear combination light bulbs, in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, to remove them.

4. Turn the rear combination light socket and wire, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove it.

5. Remove the rear combination light bulb from the socket and wire.

1. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear combination light socket and wire.
