DOOR CONTROL SWITCH (for Hatchback Center Console Side): Inspection

INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH

Check the resistance.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
3-5	Locked	10 kΩ or higher
3-5	Unlocked	Below 1 Ω
4-5	Locked	Below 1 Ω
4-5	Unlocked	10 kΩ or higher
1-6	Illumination Circuit	Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch.

Check the illumination operation.
1. Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 6 and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 1, then check that the illumination comes on.
  Standard:
  
  Illumination comes on.
  
  If the illumination does not come on, replace the door control switch.
