Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT BRAKE ACTUATOR
- Disconnect the A37 and A39 actuator connectors.
- Measure the resistance of the actuator.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition A37-4 (BS) - A39-5 (SA3) 6.95 to 7.45 Ω A37-4 (BS) - A39-6 (STR) 4.05 to 4.55 Ω A37-4 (BS) - A39-11 (SA2) 4.05 to 4.55 Ω A37-4 (BS) - A39-12 (SA1) 4.05 to 4.55 Ω HINT:
Resistance of each solenoid at 20°C (68°F).
NG: REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR
OK: GO TO Next Step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - BRAKE ACTUATOR)
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: CHECK EACH CONNECTION IF SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER DTC DELETION (IF CONNECTION IS NORMAL, SKID CONTROL ECU MAY BE DEFECTIVE)
