Inspection Procedure

INSPECT BACK DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

Apply the battery voltage to the door lock motor and check the operation of the door lock motor.

DOOR LOCK MOTOR OPERATION CONDITIONS

Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) --> 4 (ACT+) Battery negative (-) --> 1 (ACT-)	Lock
Battery positive (+) --> 1 (ACT-) Battery negative (-) --> 4 (ACT+)	Unlock

NG: REPLACE BACK DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

OK: Go TO NEXT STEP.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR LOCK - ECU)

Disconnect the Q7 door lock connector.
Disconnect the IH junction block connector.

Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
Q7-1 (ACT-) - IH-18 (ACT-)	Below 1 Ω
Q7-4 (ACT+) - IH-17 (ACT+)	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (MAIN BODY ECU)
