Vacuum Switching Valve: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See MIL CIRCUIT )
REMOVE PURGE VSV
1. Disconnect the purge VSV connector.
2. Disconnect the 2 hoses.
3. Remove the bolt and purge VSV from the intake manifold.
