Vacuum Switching Valve: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See Fig 1 )
Detach the 3 clips and remove the V-bank cover.

REMOVE PURGE VSV
1. Disconnect the purge VSV connector.
2. Disconnect the wire harness clamp.
3. Disconnect the 2 purge line hoses from the purge VSV.
4. Remove the bolt and purge VSV.
