Side Step: Installation

HINT:

The procedure described below is for the LH side. Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides, unless otherwise specified.

1. INSTALL NO. 3 SIDE STEP BRACKET 
   1. Install the No. 3 side step bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 12.5 N*m (125 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

2. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE STEP BRACKET 
   1. Install the No. 2 side step bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 12.5 N*m (125 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

3. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE STEP BRACKET 
   1. Install the No. 1 side step bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 12.5 N*m (125 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

4. INSTALL SIDE STEP SUB-ASSEMBLY 
   1. Install the step with 6 bolts.

      Torque: 20 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
