Rear Door Belt Moulding: Removal

  1. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  2. REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Fully open the rear door glass.
    2. Put protective tape around the rear door belt moulding assembly.

    3. Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip and 6 claws, and remove the rear door belt moulding assembly.

      HINT:

      Tape the remover tip before use.

      NOTE: Be careful when removing the moulding as there are claws attached to the front end of the moulding.
