Back-Up Light Switch: Inspection

INSPECT BACK-UP LIGHT BULB (for Manual Transmission)

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE REFERENCE

Tester Connection	Switch Operation	Specified Condition
1 - 2	Switch ON (Ball is not pressed)	10 kΩ or higher
1 - 2	Switch OFF (Ball is pressed)	Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the back-up light switch.
