FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): Removal

REMOVE SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER FRONT LH
1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.
2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat track bracket cover outer front LH.

  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
REMOVE SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER FRONT LH
1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat track bracket cover inner front LH.

  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH
1. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.
2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat track cover LH.

REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH
1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat track cover RH.

REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)
1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.
2. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side.
3. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.
4. Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side.
5. Move the front seat assembly to the center position and adjust the seatback to the vertical position by operating the slide and reclining adjuster release handle.
6. Disconnect the connectors and clamp.
7. Remove the front seat assembly.
  NOTE: When removing the passenger side front seat assembly, be careful not to step on the yaw rate sensor mounted on the floor under the seat.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)
1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.
2. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side.
3. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.
4. Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side.
5. Move the front seat assembly to the center position and adjust the seatback to the vertical position by operating the slide and reclining adjuster release handle.
6. Disconnect the negative terminal cable from the battery.
  CAUTION: Wait 90 seconds or more after disconnecting the negative terminal cable to prevent the airbag from deploying (See AIRBAG SYSTEM ).
7. Disconnect the connectors and clamp.
8. Remove the front seat assembly.
  NOTE: When removing the passenger side front seat assembly, be careful not to step on the yaw rate sensor mounted on the floor under the seat.
