Fuel Lid Courtesy Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FUEL LID COURTESY SWITCH 
    1. Check the fuel lid courtesy switch resistance.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Courtesy switch free (Fuel lid open) 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 2 Courtesy switch pushed (Fuel lid closed) Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid courtesy switch.
