Front Seatback Heater: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER LH 
    1. Apply battery voltage and check the seatback heater.

      OK 

      MEASUREMENT CONDITION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1      		 Seatback heater become warm

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback cover.

      NOTE: Immediately after confirming that the seat heater is functioning normally, remove the battery leads. Failing to do so may cause the seat heater to overheat.
  2. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER RH 
    1. Apply battery voltage and check the seatback heater.

      OK 

      MEASUREMENT CONDITION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
