Outer Rear View Mirror: Removal

REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL (See DISASSEMBLY )
REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE (See DISASSEMBLY )
REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (See DISASSEMBLY )
REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the connector and remove the clamp.
2. Remove the 3 bolts and the outer rear view mirror assembly.

REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR
1. Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
2. Apply protective tape on the outer rear view mirror assembly.
3. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws at the lower part of the outer rear view mirror.
4. w/o heater mirror:
  1. Pull the mirror in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror, and remove the outer rear view mirror.
5. w/ heater mirror:
  1. Pull the mirror in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror, and separate the outer rear view mirror.
  2. Disconnect the connector and remove the outer rear view mirror.
