Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK GATEWAY ECU 
    1. Disconnect the G5 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      BATT (G5-10) - GND (G5 24) LG - W-B +B (BATT) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      IG (G5-1) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      ACC (G5-2) - Body ground SB - Body ground ACC power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      SIL (G5-7) - Body ground B - Body ground Bus "+" line During transmission Pulse generation
      MPD1 (G5-3) - Body ground G - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MPD2 (G5-12) - Body ground V - Body ground W-B - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      GND (G5-24) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      GTX- (G5-21) - Body ground L - Body ground AVC-LAN line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      GTX+ (G5-6) - Body ground BR - Body ground AVC-LAN line Always 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  2. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU 
    1. Disconnect the B9, B10 and B12 ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      BECU (B12-9) - Body ground G - Body ground +B (BECU) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      MPX1 (B10-6) - Body ground GR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MPX2 (B9-10) - Body ground O - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      GND1 (B12-7) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  3. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER (A/C ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the A10 and A11 amplifier connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (A10-2) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ignition switch (on) signal Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      MPX+ (A11-2) - Body ground V - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MPX- (A10-9) - Body ground G - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      GND (A10-11) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  4. CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the A17 sensor connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG2 (A17-5) - Body grand B - Body grand Ignition switch (on) signal Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      MPX1 (A17-24) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MPX2 (A17-22) - Body ground BR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E2 (A17-28) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  5. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (METER ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the C11 and C12 meter connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      B (C11-15) - Body ground LG - Body ground +B (B) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      B (C11-16) - Body ground V - Body ground +B (B) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      MPX- (C12-4) - Body ground Y - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MPX+ (C11-5) - Body ground SB - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E (C11-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  6. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the S20 driver gear connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      B (S20-1) - Body ground L - Body ground +B (B) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      MPX1 (S20-10) - Body ground Y - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E (S20-7) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  7. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the P5 switch connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      CPUB (P5-9) - Body ground W-L - Body ground +B (CPUB) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (P5-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MPX1 (P5-7) - Body ground V - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MPX2 (P5-8) - Body ground GR - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  8. CHECK THEFT DETERRENT ECU 
    1. Disconnect the T4 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      +B1 (T4-2) - Body ground V - Body ground B (+B1) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      MPX1 (T4-31) - Body ground V - Body ground MPX line Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E (T4-29) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      +B2 (T4-3) - Body ground L - Body ground B (+B2) power supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
