YAWRATE Sensor ASSY: Replacement

NOTE:
  • Do not use the dropped or damaged yawrate sensor.
  • Keep foreign matter from adhering to the area between the yawrate sensor bracket and body.
  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (see  OVERHAUL  ) 
  2. REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Remove the bolt and yawrate sensor bracket.

  3. REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the yawrate sensor assy.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and yawrate sensor assy.
    NOTE: Do not remove the installation nuts.

  4. INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR ASSY 
    1. Install the yawrate sensor assy with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 21 N.m (214 ft.lbf, 15 ft.lbf) 

    2. Connect the connector to the yawrate sensor assy.

  5. INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Install the yawrate sensor bracket with the bolt.

      Torque: 21 N.m (214 ft.lbf, 15 ft.lbf)

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (see  OVERHAUL  ) 
  7. PERFORM YAWRATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (SEE  CALIBRATION  )
