Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER (ABS WARNING LIGHT OPERATION)
- Select the "ABS WARN LIGHT" in the ACTIVE TEST and operate the ABS warning light on the hand- held tester.
- Check that "ON" and "OFF" operation of the ABS warning light can be done on the combination meter by the hand-held tester.
OK: CHECK AND REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (See REPLACEMENT )
NG: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Check the harness and connector between the skid control ECU and combination meter.
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSY (ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT)
- Check combination meter assy (See COMBINATION METER ).
NG: REPAIR COMBINATION METER ASSY (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
OK: CHECK AND REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (See REPLACEMENT )
