Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (GAUGE1, ECU-ACC) 
    1. Check the continuity in the GAUGE 1 fuse.
    2. Check the continuity in the ECU-ACC fuse.

    NG: REPLACE FUSE 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. INSPECT CLOCK ASSY 
    1. Remove the clock assy with the connector still connected.
    2. Automatic A/C:

      Measure the voltage between terminal 24 (+B) of the clock assy connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V 

    3. Manual A/C:

      Measure the voltage between terminal 14 (+B) of the clock assy connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V 

    4. Measure the voltage between terminal 1 (GND) of the clock assy connector and body ground.

      Standard: Below 1 V 

    5. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    6. Automatic A/C:

      Measure the voltage between terminal 20 (IG) of the clock assy connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V 

    7. Manual A/C:

      Measure the voltage between terminal 12 (IG) of the clock assy connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V 

    8. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
    9. Automatic A/C:

      Measure the voltage between terminal 22 (ACC) of the clock assy connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V 

    10. Manual A/C:

      Measure the voltage between terminal 13 (ACC) of the clock assy connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V

      NG: REPLACE CLOCK ASSY (See step 4 on  REPLACEMENT  ) 

      OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
