Data List/Active Test

  1. DATA LIST 

    HINT:

    According to the DATA LIST displayed by the hand-held tester, you can read the value of the switch, sensor, actuator and so on without parts removal. Reading the DATA LIST as the first step of troubleshooting is one of the methods to shorten the labor time.

    1. Warm up the engine.
    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    3. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
    4. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    5. According to the display on the tester, read the "DATA LIST".

    ECM: 

    DATA LIST SPECIFICATION TABLE - ECM

    ENGINE SPD Engine speed/Min.: 0 rpm, Max.: 16,383 rpm Almost same as actual engine speed (When engine is running) -
    COOLANT TEMP Coolant Temperature/Min.: -40°C (-40°F), Max.: 140°C (284°F) After warming up: 80 to 95°C (176 to 203°F) If the value is "-40°C (-40°F)" or "140°C (284°F)", sensor circuit is open or shorted.

    ABS:
