Brake Master Cylinder: Installation

  1. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER WITH PLATE CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the master cylinder sub-assembly and 2-way with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 13 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

    2. Using SST, connect the 6 brake tubes to the master cylinder sub-assembly.

      Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) SST 09023-00101 

    3. Connect the level warning switch connector.
  2. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (See step 1 under  BRAKE FLUID  ) 
  3. BLEED MASTER CYLINDER (See step 2 under  BRAKE FLUID  ) 
  4. BLEED BRAKE LINE (See step 3 under  BRAKE FLUID  ) 
  5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 
  6. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR (See step 5 under  BRAKE FLUID  ) 
  7. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
